Soil2Soul expeditions are not just religious or spiritual trips; they are journeys where we aim to increase your subject knowledge and enhance your spiritual quotient. At Soil2Soul we have curated special scholar led tours that will make this trail a metamorphic journey for you to reflect and discover your inner self.
There's no strict dress code, yet we recommend you to dress modestly when visiting religious sites out of respect. Hats need to be removed and one can cover their head when you enter the sanctum. You may wear hats in the temple complex.
Guest will have to remove their shoes while entering the temple, we hence recommend you to carry a pair of slip-on walking shoes, or any similar easy to wear comfortable shoes. Do carry extra pair of socks if you want to avoid walking barefoot around the temple premises.
While our endeavor is to ensure your journey is utmost comfortable, there may be places where there will be walking or climbing stairs involved. Guests are requested to inform our booking team if they are not able to walk long distances, climb stairs or undertake physical activities such as treks. In such cases, where wheelchair facility or lift facility may not be available, guests will have to forego that activity. We do seek your understanding that there is no refund in such cases.

Copy of a valid Indian visa for the duration of the tour. In case your country is exempt from visa, please mention the same in the booking form.
We request all guests who are not resident citizens of India to check the vaccination requirements with the local Indian Embassy prior to their international departure to India.
Our tours begin and end in India, hence all guest who are not Indian nationals will need to check the visa requirement prior to their arrival into India.

Depending on the season you choose to travel we recommend you to carry season appropriate clothes. Since our tours will involve visiting temples, we suggest you carry modest clothes. A cap or a hat to protect you from the sun during the day. A pair of slip-on walking shoes or any footwear you are comfortable to walk in. Do remember, you will have to remove your footwear outside all temples. Few extra pairs of socks if you prefer not going bare feet.
Should you choose to deviate from the designated arrival or departure dates, kindly note that the associated cost adjustments for air travel, accommodations, meals, and transfers will be borne by you. Additionally, Soil2Soul Expeditions representatives, scholars, tour managers, and guides will not be present to assist you during these modified travel periods
Guest can choose the option of the package excluding the airfare. We request you to contact our booking team at the time of booking your tours who will be happy to assist you.
The tour price does not include travel insurance, yet guest can choose to have their own travel insurance. Our team will also gladly assist you with the same. We recommend guest to ensure they have some medical and travel insurance to cover any emergency that may arise.
Soil2Soul representatives will have the basic First Aid box. We request all our guests to carry their medicines that they need for the entire duration of the tour. Some places in India are remote and may not have a medical shop that stores all brands of medicines.
Our booking form contains information regarding your meal choice and your food allergies. We are committed to providing the highest quality dining experiences throughout your stay.
All Soil2Soul Expeditions tours are Pure Vegetarian tours. Guest have an option to choose from Pure vegetarian, Jain vegetarian and Vegan meals on our tours.
Scholars on all our tours may not remain the same. This will ensure our guest learn from varied experts and can interact with some of the best experts. Scholars availability is also important and there may be changes, even at the last minute to accommodate the request of scholar’s emergency cases.
Our tours will have a professional photographer and videographer as part of the tour. Soil2Soul will share the album with all guests. It is hence your choice.
While we will provide dry snacks to all our guests, and ensure the meal times are maintained, yet it may change a little in case there is intercity travel or the time taken at some places is more than what we expected. We urge all our guest to keep us informed of their medical condition if any in the booking form as a matter of precaution.
Our uniqueness is providing the best available hotels to our guests. Some hotels featured in the brochure may become unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. In such instances, an alternative hotel from a comparable category will be chosen.
You may write a mail to our team with your questions and our team will share it with our scholars. Our team will act as the mediator between the scholars and our guests post the tour.

Excess baggage charges will be at the discretion of the concerned airline and their rules and regulations. Soil2Soul will not be responsible for payment of these charges. Guest are requested to pay these charges directly to the airline.
Soil2Soul will make every effort to arrange VIP darshan for our guests; however, this may not be feasible in the event of Dignitaries / VIP's traveling or any regulations implemented by the temple authorities.
