Ramayana Corridor For Inbound Tourism In India
Bali, the only predominantly Hindu city in Indonesia, is a place closely related to India with the historic Ramayana having its imprints there.
In order to create a spiritual corridor and promote inbound tourism to India and promote Ramayana in Bali, Soil2Soul launched its tours Discover Your Inner Rama Program in Indonesia on 14th August 2024. This corridor is aimed at promoting cross nation tourism, traditional arts, music to establish a lasting bridge between the two nations.
A serene bhakti evening at the Indus Restaurant in bud, Bali brought together the spiritual traditions of India and Indonesia through a unique fusion of music. Led by the iconic Padma Shri Anup Jalota, alongside the soulful Ms Shiva Choudhary and accompanied by the talented Indonesian musician Bona Alit, the performance transcended mere entertainment. It was a shared experience, drawing the audience into a profound connection with both Indian devotional music and Balinese artistry.
In a spirit of collaboration, Soil2Soul Expeditions and Ashram Gandhi Puri, curated this remarkable event with support from the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), the Embassy of India, and Indus Restaurant. The evening celebrated the shared spiritual values and cultural heritage of the two nations, weaving together devotion and music to unite all those in attendance.
The event drew notable personalities, including Padma Shri Agus Indra Udayana, Dr. I Ketut Suardana, Shri Naveen Meghwal, Director of ICCR, and Dr. Shashank Vikram, Consul General of India in Bali. Their presence highlighted the occasion's spiritual and cultural significance, fostering a deeper sense of pride and connection within the two nations.
More than just a musical performance, the evening also served as a platform for exploring ways to strengthen the spiritual ties between India and Indonesia.
